Thank god and finally. I said didn’t I that I’d been locked out of my yahoo account a couple of weeks ago? It kept telling me that my password was incorrect so I had to enter some details that I’d entered when I first opened the account - but it told me that it didn’t match, I was incorrect! Now I maybe a bit forgetful sometimes but I can’t forget a password that I’ve been entering everyday for 8 months now can I? No way.
I contacted Yahoo! and got one of those stupid automated cover all emails that advised me to check my caps lock etc….big deep breath…..nope, had to lambast them…suggested they check their customer service and since I’m not an automated anything they shouldn’t dare to send me anything automated that a) suggests I’m stupid and b) doesn’t answer my problem!!!
…..and relax
They then asked me to provide my alternative email address, the one I entered when i first opened my account. Now I’d already been told by the system that it didn’t match up so with heavy heart I sent both of my other email addresses. They then told me that because of security blah blah and account procedures blah blah that the provided blah blah had to match exactly blah blah…WHAT? I only have two other accounts so therefore it stands to logical reason and all that is holy that it is either a) one or b) t’other!
Yahoo and me emailed to each other every day for the past week until finally i suggested that they ask an ALTERNATIVE security question since there was clearly a problem at their end. They did. I answered….and I have ladyannaspanties back yahoooooooooo
So I now have 117 emails to work through…so if you’re wondering why I haven’t replied then there you go. Yahoo are idiots that’s why.
Just been contacted by a friend who was also locked out of his account and after trying to reset his password he has been told that his date of birth is wrong! Oh dear I think Yahoo have got a few problems!!!!
If you have a yahoo account then make sure you have your important stuff backed up.
Edit: This is ridiculous. I have checked my ladyannaspanties Yahoo account to double check on the alternative email address that Yahoo kept asking me for, to prove I am who I say I am, and it was the very email address that I was sending them all those emails FROM!
Re-edit: HAHAHAHAHA Yahoo have just sent me an email (to my alternative email address, you know, the one that they thought wasn’t my alternative email address - but turns out it was) to ask me to take part in a Support Satisfaction Survey to give feedback on the standard of service they recently gave me. I had to click on a linkto take me to the survey….wait for it…wait for it……the link didn’t work!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
The link you provided to this survey is invalid. Please note that due to email formatting restrictions, the link you received may have been broken across two lines. If this is the case, please copy the entire link to the browser’s address/location field and try again.
