Oh dear :(

What a shame, it really is.

As you probably know I always check my fellow sellers blogs, Jess’, Cindy’s, Rachy’s and Kez’s, and a couple of others. As well as their blogs I always follow the comments. You’ll notice that I comment too, in fact we comment on each other’s. We’re all friends, we support each other and we offer and receive advice when needed.

So I was very disappointed to see this comment on Rachy’s blog on the 21st Dec.

Most of the big sellers are not participating apart from pantyparadise, I just see the whole thing as a bit of a circus to be honest with you. Surely awards are not needed to make sales, from reading other blogs and looking at ‘participating’ members of the forum it seems that the results have already been decided in advance. It is like UK auction category, just one nominee, it shows just how seriously or not as the case may be that it is being taken. If you ask me the ones who beg the most will win and what a good job elections are not based on the same basis… One vote per person, not some desperate forum trying to drum up visits… The winners will all have to post links to the panty forum, no wonder they want so many categories, talk about free advertising.

So not only is Michael slagging off other sellers but he is also slagging off Panty Hog. I can only think that Rachy hasn’t seen this comment since the 21st because Michael is not doing her any favours at all. I’d have deleted it!
He then had another pop at ‘other sellers’ this morning on Rachy’s blog.

Personally I do not think other sellers should be allowed to influence the voting like that, it is unfair.

This is completely ridiculous. He clearly hasn’t even read Rachy’s blog where she has asked her readers to vote for another lovely seller - Kez.

It’s left a very nasty taste in my mouth I can tell you. I just can’t understand why this Michael would slag off us other sellers, I for one have been very supportive towards Rachy as a new seller, as has Jess and Cindy. We’ve recommended Rachy as a genuine seller to buyers that we share, we’ve given advice, support, help, everything. Check Rachy’s blog, we’ve lent support to her blog even. Check my blog, I have direct links to her blog, I have links to Rachy’s site on my site.

Rachy has done extremely well since joining Panty Hog with her fresh approach to selling and her youthful exuberance, as her amazing 12 nominations have proved, comments like those left on her blog really aren’t doing her any favours at all.

What a complete shame.

Edited to make it absolutely clear that this blog was not having a pop at Rachy in any way at all. It was criticising ‘Michael’ who unfairly judged Panty Hog and other sellers and by ’supporting’ and ’sticking up’ for her actually made things look very bad for Rachy, on her blog. In other words don’t comment on something that you clearly know nothing about, it can actually cause trouble for your favourite seller.

    Dave - Rachy will have seen the comment left on the 21st but probably not the one left this morning. I’d rather try and give the benefit of the doubt because we have always been so friendly as sellers before.

    Cindy - I know, I was shocked! This Michael pops up from nowhere and starts slagging us off! I don’t get it.

    You, Jess and Cindy look to have helped out, not only Rachy, but a lot of others; and from what I can see Rachy has done well for a new seller to be nominated in so many categories. Those comments on her blog are doing her no good at all. I don’t think she moderates the comments so I’m guessing she doesn’t know about them.

    I’ve been away working abroad on contract, got back a couple of days ago, and go back in a few days time, so I don’t have much time to devote to Panty Hog at the moment .. I can’t use the internet for that abroad while working on contract ;-)

    Good luck in the awards Anna (you have my votes for a few days as Best New Seller) and good luck to Jess and Cindy too .. yeah you ladies get my vote too ;-)

    But seriously, Micheal’s posts are actually doing more harm than good - he really should get his FACTS straight first and show a little respect to those who got Rachy where she is now!!

    Rachy’s comments are like mine, unmoderated which means anyone can post whatever they like but you do get a notification email in your inbox for each one. So you can check and see who has said what, allow, edit or delete.

    I used to edit Mike’s for spelling mistakes but gave up ;)

    As you say Anna, Oh Dear indeed. A shame Rachy is away and unable to give her side of the story but as so often in these cases the damage is already done. I hadn’t realised you, Jess and Cindy had assisted Rachy is so many ways, it doesn’t reflect that in her blog at all whereas you lovely young ladies are always thanking each other.     Yikes, I am the Rachy in question and feel I must explain myself.

    To date I have had 314 blog comments, and as you can imagine I do not want 314 emails informing me of comments when it’s hard enough to sort through mails as it is. Therefore my blog is registered to my Yahoo email account - an account I no longer actively use due to receiving a tonne of spam to it, but it allows me to still receive and access mails if necessary. Therefore NO I was NOT aware of this comment and of course I do not agree with it Dave. It was posted on 21st December and most of you know I have not been around much since I posted on 21st December - I have posted only three times since and no posts took more than 5 minutes to write so I could just quickly come online, then scoot off again.

    As for this ‘Michael’, I do not know who he is. I have checked my mails so now have his email address and he is not a previous customer of mine nor someone I have ever spoken to.

    Good for you Anna for pointing this out - I do not like my blog getting such negative attention but it’s good to know then when I am not hear you can attempt to put these people straight. It shows how truly commited to this you are, which is something I love about you.

    Thanks to all of you who gave me the benefit of the doubt here. However I do NOT appreciate being called an ‘ungratful madam’ by Dave, nor a ’spoilt princess’ by Pete - two people I am damn sure I have never spoken to before. Give Anna and Cindy some credit guys, if I was such a bad person then why would these two intelligent women help me out so much and publicly link to me? Cindy has been doing this for years, surely you can trust her judgement??

    I took some time out for Christmas and hadn’t checked my comments for a few days due to family commitments. I am sorry for Michaels comment, however the insults directed at me instead of Michael were unnecessary and unfair.

    Hi Rachy, Thanks for coming on and clearing that nasty business up.

    I think that is a lesson learned for all of us - check all those comments! It’s really weird Rachy but that Michael sounded as though he knew you, as though he was really on your side! Bizarre and worrying isn’t it? I’d keep his emails just in case, you never know, you may have to report him to his provider if he continues. He really really sounded like a buyer of yours, can you block him at all?

    Pete - It can be difficult sometimes when you have lots of emails coming in. My comment emails come straight to my inbox where I delete them and then check my blog and read them here. It takes only a couple of mins but I have been doing this longer than Rachy so I’m used to it. Akismet take s care of all my spam.

    In fact flipping heck Rachy 314 comments in only 4 months on a new blog, that is incredible going, well done you, I counted up mine and I have had only 439 in the last 6 months.

    Hopefully this Michael has read all of these comments and will go away with his tail between his legs.

    And ‘Pete’ - it’s Christmas. The one single time since September that I haven’t been here at least three times a day checking mails, comments, orders etc. If you cannot understand how hard it really is for us girls to do this and ‘allow’ me to have a few days (TWO!) rest at Christmas then you are certainly NOT the sort of guy I wish to be associated with anyway!

    Very true Den, but she should realise that this is just the first of probably alot more negative comments in general to come, believe me. Myself and Anna are subjected to “asshats” and “trolling” very frequestly (in fact almost daily) because everyone knows us - the more popular you become the more abuse you have to deal with.

    It’s, unfortunately, just the way it is and you gotta stand up for yourself and then let it go. I realise Rachy is upset, its always upsetting but its one of those things you just have to put up with - comes with being in the adult industry. No matter what you do or what you sell, how good you are or how you do it - everyone has their own opinions whether it’t true or not.

    It can be tough but that is exactly what makes you successful when you can come through it smiling and shining!

    Okay, I’ve edited the nasty comments directed at Rachy by a couple of my buyers, I’ve spoken to them both and they were very upset at the comments ‘Michael’ made, and they thought Rachy had allowed.

    They were sticking up for me. I’ve explained what has happened and told them I’ll edit or remove their comments from my blog and to please not do it again without speaking to me first, however much provocation they feel.

    Seriously though Rachy, as unpleasant as it was this is nothing compared to what I had on the saucy blog. I’m very pleased to say that all the nasty stuff said about me has been archived away now but it was there for months for everyone to read.

    People say on the net what they would never dare say to your face, it’s just one of those things unfortunately.
