What an utter utter berk

Every now and again, a leading church figure decides to show us why the church is now a laughing stock. People are turning away from organised religion in droves, certainly in Europe they are, and is it any wonder really when charmers like the Rt Rev Graham Dow, Bishop of Carlisle.

Bless him. He’s obviously thought long and hard before proclaiming that the recent floods to hit England is because gays are now allowed to marry each other. It’s not just the gays who are at fault though, oh no, its all of us because we are greedy and corrupt.

Bishop’s Rant

This is pretty rich really considering that one of the biggest land owners in the country is the church. The church is worth £squillions but do you see them helping flood victims? oh no, of course, instead they are pointing their fingers and saying it is the wrath of God.

Radio Sheffield have been a lot more useful, they’ve organised a Can You Help? service where anyone who has spare blankets to surplus fridges to some spare cash can help those who have had their lives devasted by severe flooding.

How fucking hypocritical is the church!? One of the best training grounds for paedophiles is the church - and what do they do about it when they find out that one of their own has been fiddling with choir boys? They hush it up of course and try and sweep it under the altar cloth.
Apparently the church is concerned at the dropping numbers of regular church goers. Is it really any wonder when they spout hellfire, damnation, hatred and intolerance?
